JUNIQO invests more than 10 million euros in Berlin
Berlin transaction specialist acquires Wilhelminian-style property and listed residential estate
The Berlin-based transaction specialist and asset manager JUNIQO Invest GmbH recently acquired two properties in Berlin. The investment totalled over 10 million euros. The first is a Wilhelminian-style building in the Wilmersdorf district in a quiet side street off Kurfürstendamm. The other is a listed residential estate in Zehlendorf.
The Wilhelminian-style building, built in 1914, is located at Duisburger Strasse 13 near Olivaer Platz in Berlin-Wilmersdorf. The building has a total rental area of 2,230 square metres with 24 residential units. The façade is currently being renovated. Among other things, historical stucco elements are being reinstalled on the façade. The aim is to restore the characteristic Wilhelminian style. The property is already divided according to WEG. The purchase price for this property was 8.1 million euros.
The listed residential estate in Berlin-Zehlendorf dates back to 1920 and consists of seven individual houses. The 23 residential units with a total rental area of around 1,400 square metres are located on a 13,400 square metre plot. The purchase price was around 2.8 million euros. The plan is to refurbish the building in line with its listed status.
Nino Nowack, Managing Director and founder of JUNIQO Invest, emphasises: “As specialists for residential properties with special challenges, we see increasingly attractive opportunities on the current market and have therefore invested again. The banks’ hesitant approach to financing and the reluctance of institutional investors to invest have put us in a strong negotiating position when it comes to acquiring new properties. At least in Berlin, especially in prime inner-city and middle-class locations, we are seeing a stabilisation of prices.”

The company currently manages around 40 projects with over 1,100 residential and commercial units in its portfolio, with a total value of over 140 million euros.
