JUNIQO Invest buys its first new building plot for 110 apartments in the immediate vicinity of Berlin
Establishment of the “New Construction and Property Development” business segment
The Berlin investor and transaction specialist JUNIQO Invest GmbH starts in the business field of new building projects with a first land purchase. Together with a partner, a new building plot of over 6,600 square meters was acquired in the municipality of Wildau for the construction of 110 rental apartments.
Plans call for the construction of four two- to three-story residential buildings with a gross floor area of almost 7,000 square meters plus an underground garage with 114 parking spaces. The 110 rental apartments will offer a total of around 4,750 square meters of living space. Most of the planned apartments will be 1- to 2-room units. The site is located in Fontaneallee. Construction is scheduled to begin in February 2023.
“For the first time in our young company history, we are planning and developing a new construction project in multi-story residential construction. With this, we are opening up a new business segment in addition to portfolio renovation and development,” explains Nino Nowack, managing director and founder of JUNIQO Invest. “Wildau convinced us here as an attractive business and science location. The municipality scores with both an excellent infrastructure and very good transport connections in all directions. Our modern residential quarter offers demand-oriented and affordable living space in Berlin’s surrounding area,” Nowack continued.
The rapidly growing community of Wildau is located about four kilometers southeast of Berlin’s city limits and only 10 kilometers south of the capital’s BER airport. Optimal transport links are provided by the A10 and A113 highways. In addition, the Tesla Gigafactory is also only about 16 kilometers away. The city is best known for the Technical University of Wildau, the listed Schwartzkopff-Siedlung and the A10-Center shopping center, which is considered one of the largest retail locations in the Berlin area.
JUNIQO Invest specializes in the management and structuring of real estate transactions. For acquisitions, the focus is on residential and commercial properties as well as project developments with a volume of up to 50 million euros for the company’s own portfolio. Geographically, JUNIQO Invest concentrates on Berlin, Leipzig and other central locations in large and medium-sized German cities.
